I’m Jean-Luc Benazet, a Cambridge-based photographer. I photograph businesses, their people, their events, their products and their spaces, and I have done so in Cambridge since 1998.

There is no account manager and no team of freelancers. The person who reads your brief is the person who turns up with the camera and edits the photographs.
I like to understand what the photographs need to do before picking up the camera. Who will see them? Where will they appear? What should they say about your business? Those answers shape the shoot.
I started on film in 1995, grew up in the south of France, completed a Master’s degree in English and moved to the UK in 1998. I also spent fifteen years at Citrix, working with developers, publications and architects. It taught me how organisations actually work, which helps when I walk into yours.
I also work with clients in French.
